Automatic Litter Box Cleaning
One-Time Deep Clean
When you choose a one-time service, we will pick up your automatic litter box and return it seven days later, fully cleaned and sanitized, as described below.
The base price for this service is $150 and includes informative before-and-after photos so you can see what we see.
While your box is at our facility, you will need to use a traditional litter box and scooper, or another automatic litter box in it's place. ​If you'd like to borrow a traditional box and scooper for the week, just let us know and we'll set you up.

Once at your home, we document the condition and functionality of your unit before service begins. While automatic litter boxes do not need to be fully functional for service, identifying any existing issues helps us monitor them during the cleaning process.

Your dirty litter box is then carefully bagged and boxed for transport to our service facility. The surrounding area is then swept or vacuumed and a temporary litter box is set up in its place.

​​ Helpful Tip: We recommend placing some of the used litter into the temporary box to help establish a familiar scent. This simple step helps your cat feel right at home.

Scheduled Deep Cleanings
When you sign up for one of our Care Plans, your automatic litter box receives scheduled deep cleans every 30 or 60 days. We simply swap the unit you are using with an identical, clean, and sanitized unit that's been dedicated to your account.
The base price for this service is $150 for the first cleaning (includes informative before-and-after photos), and either $75 or $100/month thereafter. There are no contracts to sign, and you can cancel at anytime.
At your first service appointment, Litter Mates arrives in our branded service van with a duplicate automatic litter box dedicated to your account for the swap.

The clean, duplicate automatic litter box is then installed, tested, and confirmed operational. If you have requested that we save and reuse your filtered litter, it is added back into the clean unit.

Gnat and Fly Removal
Shields, Hoppers, Carpet Trays, Ramps, and Mats collect litter dust and residue just like the box itself. Our accessory cleaning service deep cleans and sanitizes them as well for maximum freshness.

$10 per Ramp, Shield, Hopper, or two-layer Mat
Gnats and flies can develop in any litter box under the right conditions. Our chemical-free process removes the pests and the conditions that allow them to return.

Premium clay litter delivered to your door in refillable, easy-to-open and easy-to-pour 8 lb jugs that we clean and reuse.

What Happens to Your Box at Our Facility
At our Orlando facility, the unit is vacuumed, washed, and detailed using a fragrance-free, bio-enzymatic cleaner developed specifically for Litter-Robot systems. The same professional cleaning process is used for all automatic litter boxes we service.
​
Special attention is given to areas where litter and waste accumulate, including seams, corners, and internal surfaces. All components housing electronics are cleaned carefully to ensure they remain completely dry.
​
Any minor maintenance issues identified during cleaning, including peeling seal strips, unsecured or rusty liner weights, unseated liners, or missing screws, are corrected at no additional cost.
​
The final step is sanitizing the unit using REScue®, a veterinarian-endorsed disinfectant. Before your next scheduled service, the unit is fitted with a new charcoal filter and waste drawer liner and prepared for its next swap.​
